Foreign Direct Investment, Governance and Inclusive Growth in Sub-Saharan Africa

Motivated by the projected rebound of foreign direct investment (FDI) inflow to sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) following implementation AfCFTA and finalization Investment Protocol, we examine how FDI modulates effects various governance dynamics on inclusive growth in SSA. We do this testing two hypotheses? first, whether unconditionally indicators (rule law, control corruption, regulatory quality, effectiveness, political stability, voice accountability) foster SSA; second, these engender positive synergy with Using data from World Bank’s Governance Indicators Development for period 1990–2020, employ several fixed effects, random system GMM estimators analysis.
